We bought the Wine!

Wal-mart was having a nice sale and we figured that we shouldn't pass it up just becasue we were a year away from the wedding. We did however look like complete alcoholics standing in line at Wal-mart with gardening tools and 25 bottles of wine.

We should have an update coming very soon about our cake and our food for the reception, just have to tie up some lose ends.

The Man Tuxes have been chosen

Rian and I went out to the Men's Warehouse and got fitted for my Tuxedo for the wedding. While we were there we put together the most ballin' package anyone has ever assembled.
I chose for myself a cream/champagne colored vest, with a pin-stripped tux. We haven't decided on shoes I'm either thinkin the regular black shoes or all black Converse Chuck taylors...awww snickies!
For the groomsmen and everyone else involved for the wedding I got them Targerine vests... oh yeah baller.

We have a Wedding Venue booked!

We booked a local art gallery called Plant Zero.
It is fricken huge, 7,000 square feet!

Next up we are going to meet with caterers this sunday, March 28th and see what they can bring to our wedding experience.

1st Update on the Wedding

Hey ya'll.
Welcome to our Wedding Planning blog, where you guys can follow us in our planning process. So, 1st things first, we have set a date. May 14th, 2011. So, in 400+ days we'll be getting married, I heard that it will go by REALLY fast.



2ndly. We have chosen our wedding planner. We chose Liz from Events by Elizabeth Palmer. She is young and very energetic. She seems to understand what we are talking about and the kind of personalized stamp that we would like to put on our wedding.
She also has a Blog so check it out and see why we chose her.

We are now scouting venues, videographers and DJ's. After that the list will continue to grow. Stay with us.
